Stop sharing a folder

You can stop sharing a folder, so Network Magic no longer shares the files it contains.

1. Using Network Magic, click Shared Folders.

2. Click the folder you want to stop sharing.

3. In the Tasks tab, click the option to stop sharing.

4. At the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.

Stop sharing a folder using Windows Explorer

1. Click this button:
   
   

2. Locate the folder that you no longer want to share.

3. Right-click the folder, and then select Remove from Shared Folders.

When you stop sharing a folder, Network Magic displays a notification.

Note

Using Network Magic, you cannot stop sharing a folder on another computer. If you decide to stop sharing a folder and another user is currently using files in the folder, Network Magic immediately stops sharing (in effect, disconnects the user).
